Domes (and the State Library of Victoria)

I am currently studying in the State Library of Victoria, Melbourne, Australia… in the Dome… one of my favourite places to study and write. I love how a dome holds you, but allows for that space, its safe, but gives you room to move. Like a womb, you can comfortably float, but allow your mind to go to vast and varied places! If that makes sense? You don’t feel trapped or claustrophobic, but you are also not exposed. There is no place to hide, but ample space that feels still and secure, contained.

I also love books, and that musky smell of books.
